August 17, 20205 yr I am on a limited bandwidth and decided to buy the Aerosoft boxed version. Is it going to work on US computers? And why is there no boxed version being sold at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, GameStop, etc? August 17, 20205 yr Because almost no one buys a massive program like msfs on dvd, there’s a small niche msrket in europe that aerosoft is catering for. But dvd will be a miniscule percentage of the sales. Oz Sim Rig: MSI RTX3090 Suprim, an old, partly-melted Intel 9900K @ 5GHz+, Honeycomb Alpha, Thrustmaster TPR Rudder, Warthog HOTAS, Reverb G2, Prosim 737 cockpit. Currently flying: MSFS: PMDG 737-700, Fenix A320, Leonardo MD-82, MIlviz C310, Flysimware C414AW, DC Concorde, Carenado C337. Prepar3d v5: PMDG 737/747/777. I have the same issue and was also thinking of ordering the boxed version from Aerosoft, do they ship to the US? I can't imagine why it wouldn't work on US computers, I'm sure their DVD format is the same? My only other option I could think of is that I plan on buying a new computer from Jetline or some similar outfit and will ask them when they build it if they can install MSFS 2020 for me, although not sure if that will work either because of having to register Xbox game pass or something like that? Good Luck and post what you fine out for us who don't have the benefit of fast Internet? Cheers Martin Edited August 17, 20205 yr by MartinRex007

August 17, 20205 yr Be glad you can't get the DVD version. It requires the DVD be in the drive to run. Aerosoft said that MSFT required that. How very 2003 of them. My new Dell didn't even come with an optical drive since they are obsolete and have been for close to a decade. There will be a lot of unhappy European customs when they realize what they actually purchased.

Shouldn't be this difficult! Cheers Martin
