  1. How and where do they go in the scenery library as far as order and placement are concerned? Does Base go above LC or is it LC above Base?
  2. Somehow Prepar3d keeps "forgetting" in the scenery library where the ImagineSim Atlanta scenery files are. The file location is never listed. Next time I loaded Prepar3d, I got this message. Eventually Prepar3d deactivates it. This is very frustrating. A manual install of the scenery results in no textures for the Atlanta airport area. Is there a fix for this?
  3. Where do we find the AS16 Simconnect?
  4. I created some custom library objects for use with Instant Scenery, and imported them to Prepar3d, but they're not showing up in the scenery nor the Instant Scenery menu. What could be the problem? I'm housing these on a separate drive, by the way. Some of the scenery that I created that doesn't require library objects is showing up by the way.
  5. I don't have the roads, but the right of ways of roads on mine. How do I fix this?
  6. Compared to FSX (new out of the box on a new computer), X-plane looks somewhat not so good on my system. I do love the interface and have tried a few flights. I'm going to migrate to Prepar3d eventually on a new system. X-Plane's graphics however leave a lot to be desired on my current system. Therefore, FSX remains the sim of choice. A new system might even the playing field.
  7. The RealitySim Atlanta and ImagineSim KATL scenery packages work well in FSX together. I wonder how they work in Prepare3D.
  8. It's completely reworked from 2.0. A complete Delta HQ and the hotels on Loop Road and Virginia Avenue are on the sim. The level of detail is superb! Signage is somewhat accurate. Only big complain is that they thought Montgomery was north of ATL and downtown was south. The 27R/9L extension is added. 285 tunnel is on there finally!
  9. Are there going to be more repaints for this aircraft? There's only three registration numbers out there on AVSIM, and I'm flying the same registration numbers over and over again.
  10. Thank you, guys. I'm back up and running. Amazing how a software update caused so much trouble. However, it is a testament to Tom Allensworth that his creation is so much beloved, and I'm sure he would appreciate how much AVSIM's community helped me out.
  11. I followed the instructions in the last post. The only drawback is that with the static IP, my FS computer can't access the Internet.

  13. Okay, I changed the name on the Simconnect and that problem has been fixed. I have nice "green letters" Unfortunately, no luck with WideFS as of yet.
  14. Yes, they are networked together still. I'm stunned that an AS SP update would cause these frustrations.
  15. So how exactly did you solve this problem? Is your problem fixed now? If so, how?
  16. Now, WideFS isn't connecting either. My problem seems similar to this one. I've tried reinstalling the SDKs http://forum.avsim.net/topic/453257-simconnect-can-no-longer-resolve-local-computer-name/
  17. The Simconnect.ini diagnostic shows the following first few lines: 0.00000 SimConnect version 10.0.61259.0 0.01136 Server: Scope=global, Protocol=IPv4, Address=FRYSELECTRONIC, Port=500, MaxClients=64 0.02137 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=Pipe, Name=\\.\pipe\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimConnect, MaxClients=64 0.02257 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=IPv6, Address=::1, Port=49217, MaxClients=64 0.02377 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=IPv4, Address=127.0.0.1, Port=49218, MaxClients=64
  18. It's not loading on my FSX system, but AS Evolution loaded on there earlier today.
  19. I have version 61259. I have version 61259 dating back to August 2011 when I put FSX on here. Here's the btstrp.txt file which shows 04/07/15 12:36:04 SimVersion=1, FsVersion=0 04/07/15 12:36:04 SxS path: C:\windows\winsxs\* 04/07/15 12:36:04 Simconnect 10.0.61259 being initialized... 04/07/15 12:36:04 Connected... 04/07/15 12:36:06 Sim is not running 04/07/15 12:36:14 check point 1... passed 04/07/15 12:36:14 check point 2... passed 04/07/15 12:36:14 check point 3... passed 04/07/15 12:36:14 check point 4... passed

  21. I use the computer name in the address. Never had a problem with it.
  22. This happened right after an ActiveSky update yesterday.
  23. It's not working. I installed an ActiveSky update and it stopped working. Reinstalled ActiveSky and it didn't work. I think the problem is Simconnect, but how can an ASNext SP2 update affect that program on another computer?
