Is there a quicker way of starting the sim rather than having to open the Microsoft Store everytime.  Hoping to add an icon to the desktop but that just opens Microsoft store again.

In your store account click on the 3 DOTS beside the LAUNCH bar.  An option allows "pin to start"

You have the option to add the icon on the Start Menu and in the taskbar: in the Microsoft Store, select MSFS and then click on the three dots button on the right

Just search out "Microsoft Flight Simulator" in your start menu, it's a Windows application ready to click. You can pin that to your start menu or taskbar for easy access.
