Crash physics - I hit a 🌲and Storm Francis

Recommended Posts

Whilst practising some touch and goes at a very windy EGGD earlier I unfortunately got it all wrong and took the top off a tree at tall pines golf course.

To my surprise there was no black screen saying you crashed, merely a loud bang and I was fortunately able to carry on my way.

Also of note was the fantastic wave effects over the Severn, and later the Solent whilst checking out Southampton's photogrammetry - and lastly the lighting, absolutely fantastic using newly enabled HDR10 in very contrasting conditions - nice one Asobo 👌

Be sure to remember to tell your mechanics of that, there must be a dent  on the body somewhere. 🧐

While doing one of the Airbus landing challenges, the wheels caught the top of some houses and I heard a couple bangs before the crash screen appeared.

It seems the gear is able to take some of the impact on objects, which is actually kind of neat in a way.

Absolutely confirm the effects on the Solent this morning, even looking down from FL250..  very impressive.  At the time I was fighting 95mph cross winds which were bouncing me around some whilst on my way to sunnier climes 🙂
