I've noticed that if my mixture control is not all the way to zero, the mixture starts in the same place.  It is only if my mixture control is at zero that the mixture starts at full rich.

Did you forget the fuel cutoff in your list?  The animation on that one is wonky anyway.

I mentioned the fuel cutoff I think! Should start on! And interesting about the mixture. I always start with it all the way down and it’s always all the way up 🙂 And gotcha about the parking brake hahahaha

I noticed where you'd mentioned the fuel cutoff.  Having it off for cold and dark starts is also a flight sim convention.

I've got one aircraft that has the fuel cutoff animation improperly initialized in the cockpit so it shows as ON when it's actually OFF and if I don't switch it in the cockpit the engine won't start.  It's something in the .mdl file that I can't fix.
