August 27, 20205 yr I fly the Textron/Cessna C152 almost all the time. When I tune an ILS frequency (or VOR) - everything works as it should and I can follow the beam to a nice landing. However - if I press the NAV1 (or 2) speaker button I hear the Morse code signal, which I use to verify I am tuned to the ILS transmitter I want. BUT - I can find no way to stop the infernal beeping of the Morse signal! Pressing / Holding / Double tapping either NAV speaker button does NOT stop the beeping even though pressing the same button turns the beeping ON. The only way to stop the beeping is to change the frequency so I am no longer receiving the signal. But, if I tune back to the correct ILS or VOR frequency - the beeping starts again. Even when I turn both NAV radios OFF the beeping continues! How do I stop the Morse beeping in the C152 once it has started? I've tried to find another Aircraft with analogue VOR gauge with speaker but EVERY time I want to see the instrument panel of a different AC - I have to reload from the World view menu, which on my system takes about 90-seconds. How do I switch aircraft while sitting on the runway? I know someone asked this question a few days ago but it seems like a very important function that is not currently available. How do we test/diagnose problems to see if they are unique to a single plane or systemic in the sim? August 27, 20205 yr Is there a button for DME ident and if so, is the NAV1 frequency tuned in? That might be a reason for you still hearing the morse. Not sure, but in FSX:SE I think I resolved a similar situation - DME ident was active.. Good luck! August 27, 20205 yr Isn't there a small Ident button on the NAV unit to turn off the beeping while still tuned to the VOR or ILS frequency?
