Congrats! That means you won!

Tweeking is a side industry for any Flight Simulation release.  Just wait a while and you will be able to buy software that will apply and retain all of your favorite tweeks.

As a word of advice since I am a software developer, if you are getting decent FPS (decent, but not great FPS), be careful of what you tweak.  Most in game settings changes should usually be fine because the game was made for you to change the setting inside the game (however, I unchecked VSync in the game increased the maximum frames and my GPU was hitting 100% usage at the menu screen so I enabled VSync again and lowered the maximum frames to 60 and my GPU stopped hitting 100% at the menu screen).  Tweaking outside of the game though is done at your own risk and may lead to future CTDs and instability of the game.  For example, any tweak that requires changing the core game files is a risk, especially when the game is updated.  If the code for the update is not meant to work with the tweak you did  on the core game file, then you may have an unstable game and your game may CTD and become unplayable.

I see people even doing tweaks to Windows, I mean, if you're doing tweaks to Windows, I hope you know what you are doing since it can impact other programs you are using and the overall function of Windows.  Some people are even tweaking their BIOS - I hope those people know what they're doing because you can really mess up your computer if you don't know what you are doing to your BIOS.

TLDR: If the game is giving you decent frame rates and it's playable, and you are not a 'techie," it's better to wait for Asobo to fix the game through future updates (but it should be okay to change most of the settings inside the game). If you decide to tweak outside the game, be sure you know what you are doing because it may come back to bite you with unintended consequences if you don't know what you are doing.
