You run the .exe. 

The .exe talks to MSFS via Simconnect, and also runs a small web server on localhost. 

You view the map via your web browser pointed at that localhost port.

Thanks Guys. Local Host refuses to work for me. 

Am using  FS-FlightControl and happy with that.

Please remember that if you start a browser on another device from where the .exe and MSFS  is running you need to replace "localhost" with the IP adress of the MSFS computer.

For example if you want to view the map on an iPad.
