Dear Bus Drivers!

FS2Crew is happy to announce our first product for the mighty new Microsoft Flight Simulator has been released!  (FYI, it also works in P3D and FSX 😉 )

The new Microsoft Flight Simulator is truly beautiful, but without your FS2Crew "crew" on board it's pretty quiet and lonely 😉

We're offering 5 Euros off for the first 2 weeks only instead of giving out a coupon code for anyone who ever owned an FS2Crew before.  No coupon code required!

What planes does this program work with?

1. It can theoretically run alongside any aircraft, even a Cessna, since it's a stand-alone program that runs outside of the sim.  But obviously that would be silly.  We designed it for use with the stock Airbus in FS2020 and the FSLabs and Aerosoft Airbus.

2. It should also work with the the community driven A320NX project in the new Flight Simulator.  It should be able to integrate at the same level as the default Airbus.

Can it flip all the switches?

1. This is a work-in-progress.  It can currently control the gear, flaps, spoilers and some of the switches.  But a lot of the buttons on the plane the virtual FO cannot control, especially ones on the overhead panel in the FS2020 Airbus.

As Microsoft expands the SDKs, we'll update the product so the FO can press more buttons as per his flows.  Right now, you need to flip some of the switches for the FO.

2. If you're using the FSLabs or Aerosoft Airbus, the program can only be used for audio checklists.  Flaps, etc., need to be controlled by you.  This is ideal for home cockpit users and people who want to do most of the "work" themselves.

If you want an FO in the FSLabs or Aerosoft Airbus that "does everything", please purchase the versions of FS2Crew dedicated to those two products.

Flight Crew A320 is very different from the "old" FS2Crew's... Here's what current FS2Crew owners need to know who are making the transition!

This program is quite different from what you're used to.  Everything changed with FS2020.  We can no longer use in-process dll's (gauge files) that are loaded via the host aircraft's panel.cfg file.  Those days seem over (at least for now).

1. When you install Flight Crew A320, you can install it anywhere.  Unlike the old FS2Crew's, you do NOT need to install it into the main Flight Simulator folder.

2. You need to start Flight Crew A320 manually.  You'll see the link on your desktop.  The program is now a stand-alone EXE.  You can run it before or after you load the host aircraft.

3. Flight Crew A320 uses Windows Forms.  It's a C# .Net application now that connects to the simulator via Simconnect.   This is different from the old FS2Crew's which used C++ and which made little use of Simconnect.

4. If you have two monitors, we suggest keeping the FS2Crew Main Panel on your 2nd Monitor.  If you only have 1 monitor, the FS2Crew panel will automatically close when the Flight Simulator window takes focus.  Hotkey assignments are available to bring the FS2Crew Panel back up.  You can also trigger the Main and Secondary buttons using hotkeys, so you can still run the program without the panel being visible on your screen.

5. The program uses Button Control only.  If you've used Button Control in the past, you'll know how the system generally works.  It's pretty straight-forward.  Unlike Voice Control, there are no complex commands to memorize.

6. It uses a brand new audio system.  The only thing to know about this is that the Cabin PA sound files are now accessible to you.  You can swap them with your own Cabin PAs.

7. If you're using the FS Labs or Aerosoft Airbus, read the section in the manual pertaining to these two aircraft!

Glad to see FS2Crew fully behind the new sim, im sure you will figure how to add the missing controls soon enough.

I almost jumped in, but I really would like voice control. What's the roadmap? would you expand this product for voice in the future, or release a different product (and different purchase) for the voice activation feature?

One would assume that it's impossible for FS2Crew to have a roadmap for that feature in MSFS as it requires Asobo to make upgrades to the SDK that are impossible for the former to predict when they will happen.

This is a very welcome addition to MSFS, however. Congrats!

I still don't get it... please elaborate.

Text in simulator is for accessibility to deaf people who couldn’t hear what co pilot to say in ways. For example like  ATC does.
