Hi, hmm, what do you mean when you say you have adjusted the standard view to your own taste? Do you mean you have changed the actual parameters/distances and zoom values themselves? Couldyou expand a little, thanks.

Yes i have. I have set the default cockpit cameras parameters (distances, height, placements). In the TBM for example my view is much more forward. higher and tilted down. So when i switch bacl to default i "look" out of the front, i am "sitting" high enough to see over the Dashboard but the camera is tilted downwards a bit so i have the artificial horizon in sight.

I can give you the lines of the camera.cfg if you like to try it but i am at work at the moment. Would upload them later tonight.

Best

Ah, I see. Thanks, your help is appreciated. Sure, if you could perhaps send me the location of the relevent file I need to change that would be helpful. :smile:

Ok just replace the lines in the original cameras.cfg file with these and give it a try:

[CAMERADEFINITION.0]
Title ="Pilot"
Guid ="{8FF6C134-098D-409F-BAEC-CABA3F683F98}"
Description =""
Origin ="Virtual Cockpit"
MomentumEffect =1
SnapPbhAdjust ="Swivel"
SnapPbhReturn =0
PanPbhAdjust ="Swivel"
PanPbhReturn =0
Track ="None"
ShowAxis ="YES"
AllowZoom =1
InitialZoom =0.35
SmoothZoomTime =2ZoomPanScalar =1
ShowWeather =1
XyzAdjust =1
ShowLensFlare =0
Category ="Cockpit"
SubCategory ="Pilot"
SubCategoryItem ="DefaultPilot"
PitchPanRate =20
HeadingPanRate =60
InitialXyz = 0.03, 0.15, -0.95
InitialPbh = -5, 0, 0
NodesToHide =""
ClipMode ="Normal"
BoundingBoxRadius =0.1
UITitle="TT:GAME.PANEL_CAMERA_PILOT_VFR"
TargetCategory="None"
CycleHidden=0
CycleHideRadius=0
ShowPanel=0
InstancedBased=0
NoSortTitle=0
Transition=0
PanAcceleratorTime=5
XYZRate=0.25
XYZAcceleratorTime=0

I am using the steam version so the file should be located here:

\asobo-aircraft-tbm930\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_TBM930

hope this helps!
