How to make adjustment of custom views less sensitive in the cockpit?

Also, why the second press on the custom view button always returns POV to some default reference position? Is it possible to disable that?

The second question make use you have deleted all default view from you joystick/yoke before adding custom views.

When you want to set up and save your custom view (and there are 10 of them ALT_1 to ALT_0, saved with ALT_CTR_1 to ALT_CTR_0) you'd want to adjust them first - higher, lower, bwd, fwd etc. I'd like to have the adjustment controls to be less responsive, allowing me to make finer adjustments. Not a big issue anyway.

I see 🙂, well this is not perfect but it will help! for horizontal, up and down and zoom, get the view close to how you want and press ESC under general there are 3 sliders to fine tune the 3 ive said,. but after you have saved remember to reset them back to your defaults.

because its the default for all views Dirk

Sure I get that but so what? How do you use those otherwise?

If you use the zoom to set a custom and lets say set it to 90%, when you go back to you normal VC view the zoom level will still be 90%

I tried the sliders for adjusting speed of POV movement in VC and I don't think that is working.

Right, the zoom works. FWD/BWD Up/Down - can't be fine tuned to move slower or in less increments in VC. I can't anyway.

yer I said the only ones that work Dirk. Hopefully chashplane will come out.

I really hope the developer of X-Camera will take that on, not even EZCA that I prefer in P3D by far.

Hi Dave, I've been wrecking my head for weeks trying to sort this camera view nonsense. It certainly is doing my head in! I have the same issue as Dirk, and I have tried to find where the default views are to disable. They are not in the control panel. I have also tried changing the camera cfg, but that has been unsucccessful. Can you offer some help? Cheers.

In the cameras.cfg i have adjusted the "standard" cockpit view to my taste so by pressing the assigned key it will return to this exact view. No more up and down, left and right. I can pan around and switch back with only one press of the button.

Hi, hmm, what do you mean when you say you have adjusted the standard view to your own taste? Do you mean you have changed the actual parameters/distances and zoom values themselves? Couldyou expand a little, thanks.
