From what I've read, the way the liveries of the stock planes are designed make it pretty hellish, and very limiting, to try to update them.  There's no proper paint kit available, so what can be done at the moment is fairly minimal.

(That said, 70% of third party liveries are hot garbage even with good paint kits, so this shouldn't be too surprising.  😂)

Agreed.

 

I tried the MSFS Mod Manager first to install the liveries.  Didn't work, so I just did it manually and dropped liveries folder in the community folder.  Way too easy.

Now I just have a shortcut on the desktop to the community folder.  Unzip, drag, drop, done!
