Here are a few in Chicago area with the Virus (took me a bit to find the emergency brake).  The weather is another modified theme (I dont remember which one but maybe clear skies? - dont know if it matters). yes - clear skies modified.

Nice pictures....!!

Good to see Chicago in the new SIM....(having spent ~20 years there....)...of course, rough times in the downtown area...these days...(miss the older better times...downtown was always such a great place to spend an afternoon in the weekends...)...

The North/South Lake Shore Drive shot off the RHS window looks really good (btw, nice plane avionics package seen in that shot too...)...

Regarding your weather, the scattered clouds seem quite believable...and, the water surface texture, on Lake Michigan (the shot with the Barge), also looks good...

Thanks for showing the bird's eye view from the "backside" of the downtown skyscrapers...(not usually seen)...

Overall the new SIM is doing its job, here, rather well, with excellent details...! Thanks for the post...!!

Thanks for the comments.  I was really impressed with the shoreline there.  and the water does look really good.  that was my first experience with the Pipistrel Virus but it certainly won't be the last...that planes a lot of fun.

There are some truly giant trees in that area though - just a few...they'll get it ironed out 🙂

Well I'm not impressed!

Ever since Meigs Field was taken away from the shoreline

IRL I know it can be accessed in a virtual time machine..

Beautiful shots! 🍻 Cheers!

When I saw your thread title I was wondering what I might find due to 2020...   Almost everything looks beautiful from up there in the sky even in an unfortunately named aircraft!

Yes, I read your recent post about "Apocalyptic trees..."...🙂...

I normally used to stay on the shoreline side of the Skyline while visiting the downtown, so your skyline picture, shown, was interesting to me. I recall....when I was new there, I ended up on one of those (interior) roads seen in your 4th shot, and just couldn't escape out....my GPS kept taking me in circles...🙂....I think it was lost too...and, being surrounded, at the same time, on all sides by those tall buildings was not too comforting either...(cannot recall much about trees there or lack thereof)...

I like the Virus too...unfortunate name, yes,....A short while ago, I'd posted a selection of Freeware planes I'd found and liked in the File Library....the Pipistrel Virus was one in it....with your advance permission, I attach that screenshot below...

And, meanwhile, do enjoy the new SIM (and this sporty plane too), while tweaking the SIM as needed...🙂...but, that's only natural at this stage...I suppose....
