TBM 930 Auto Pilot Issue

Featured Replies

I am having issues with the TBM 930 Auto Pilot randomly disengaging.
I never had issues with any AP function in FSX A/C?  Perhaps not as realistic as the TBM 930?

Am I missing something?

Also I think the developers have over used the mouse wheel.  I need to change the zoom to some other key.  When your using the VS wheel to adjust Vertical Speed for example and you move it slightly to the left or right you sometimes go into zoom / reduce panel mode.

Thanks!

Are you deflecting your yoke/joystick inadvertently maybe by bumping it?

A deflection beyond a certain threshold will disarm the AP.

Maybe increase the null zone if a the joystick is dirty and noisy.

You also have to engage the upper right switch on the overhead panel

A way around this is to use the keyboard to adjust altitude, vertical speed, and heading.
