  1. I’d like to know too… In the ATC it is annoying to sort through so many helipads with similar names to an airport…
  2. True, but in still as an end user it’s disappointing…
  3. List seems rather anemic with too much “under investigation” and some fixes set for SU2, which is a bit off putting, since we don’t know when SU1 will be… I was hoping for more, sooner.
  4. I disabled all the ones I don’t fly in… So, I have only the North American and Caribbean WU enabled. But, that’s a hold over on 2020 for saving disk space and it did improve start up times in 2020, also.
  5. Yup, just did a flight no checklist on the PFD/MFD in the Asobo version, yet…
  6. Are you using the default 2024 Asobo SF50 or the FFX 2020 SF50? Because the default did not have it in the flight I did a couple of hours ago. The FFX version has had it all along.
  7. Nope, it’s a phantom light that just popped up on 2024. Maybe, it was thought of as an improvement? I’ll look for a link but I think it has been reported as a bug. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/too-bright-invisible-lightsource-at-night-in-helicopters-aircraft/695340 Use link above to vote on it.
  8. As I noted in an earlier post in this thread the “missing features” are actually add-ons not on the real aircraft from a real life owner / operator. The only thing missing is the check list on the PFD / MFD, which will likely be added at some point.
  9. I don’t have the exact numbers any more but I am sub 4’ start to flying.
  10. 1) Go to the menu on the lower right, scroll down, select navaids, airspaces, etc. 2) After planning flight in EFB file with ATC from the EFB it will then show on the world map. On the EFB go to the clipboard icon on the left side and double click it, it will show your flight plan and aircraft. 3) To skip using the EFB, go back to step one, zoom in on the world map and add waypoints as before in 2020, skip point 2) above altogether. Caveat: I am not on my computer but on holiday, all the above is from memory but should get you started.
  11. Mine too, plenty of system depth, but I can do without the maintenance part, assume I’m flying someone else’s plane… that headache is theirs! Honorable, mention to the Black Square Baron mod… my engines are still at 99% after I don’t know how long.
  12. As far P3D v3, last one I used, you could still edit the logbook… Since, MSFS 2020 I have given up.
  13. This is a bug that has been logged for a fix in the official forum. It affects several aircraft including the SR22. No need for a mod, just patience…
  14. You can put on the headphone simulation on in one of the setup screens… I am not at my computer but maybe someone chime in. The checklist missing in the Garmin has been bug logged and will likely be fixed in a future update. Meanwhile, the one in the EFB is SF50 specific.
  15. Reading a thread on the official forum an owner / operator noted that some of the features of the FFx version are not actually in the real aircraft such as flap speeds: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/vision-jet-bugs/672861/67?u=cmcollazo71 & https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/vision-jet-bugs/672861/93?u=cmcollazo71 So, the Asobo version, besides the CAPS & Bring Me Home, is actually more true to life in its systems, even if at first it appears not to, as noted below: Although, the checklist in the Garmin is missing, and should not be, probably fixed by WT as it’s logged as a bug already.
  16. We’ll, I stand corrected!
  17. In almost every jet it’s FLC in the climb to guard against an inadvertent stall and VS / VNAV for the descent, to avoid busting an altitude restriction. FLC is not used in a descent…
  18. Sorry Ron! I wish I could be of more help…
  19. Put both in the Community folder, if you haven’t already tried that… I wish I could be of more help, but that is all I did. And, I am with you on the Baron, been loving it lately. Flies great, enough system depth to not be boring, but not to be a shore. And fast enough to get places, and just at home in a small GA airport or an International airport!
  20. If not for the actual 5090, at least for the price drop on the 4090… It’s what I am waiting on to pull the trigger on the above.
  21. Sounds like a: MSI Aegis ZS2 Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 9 7900X - GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER If so, I was also considering it as an upgrade….
  22. I thought only the Dukes were stand alone, everything else a mod… The upcoming Caravan will be stand alone as will be all further releases.
  23. Exactly, Idid just that for the Baron!
  24. Works for Black Square Baron, too… Thanks @Bert Pieke! It hadn’t occurred to me try this… I copied the Baron from MSFS2020 and the mod in the community folder, brilliant!!
  25. Yup! @fppilot and I have been discussing the fuel burn issue in regards to the HondaJet. Appears that fuel burn increases in the flight levels at about FL250 and higher instead of continuing to drop! It will decrease up to that FL then start increasing to sometimes 3x the expected burn rate!!
