September 17, 20205 yr Hello, Thank you everybody for their comments to my new build. I finally bought everything, with the exception of the RTX 3090 which I am waiting for. in the mean time I can use my 1080 Ti. I am planning on using this for P3DV5 and MFSF 2020 I finally bought the following Case - Thermaltake Vie 51 Full tower - It is huge, but will allow for ample cooling Mobo - Asus Maximus XII CPU - Intel i9-10850k - I guess the performance difference with the 10900K does not justify the $300 in price. CPU Cooler - Corsair Icue h150i Pro Xt 360mm PSU - EVGA 750 Gt. - I am not sure if it will be enough for the 3090, but I have another two PSUs that I can switch if needed. One is a 1000 Watts in my previous PC, and another one an EVGA 1300 Watts that I use to power my lights indicators etc of my B737 homecockpit. Memory - G. SKILL Ripjaws V series 32FGB x 2 16GB DDR4 4000 Samsung 970 1TB NVME M2. to store Windows 10 and other operating and testing software Samsung 860 EVO 2TB to store MSFS2020 and all add-ons SAmsung 860 EVO 2TB to store P3Dv5 and all add-ons OS Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Thanks and regards https://imgur.com/a/iBn5rZA https://imgur.com/a/fx8rqFI Juan Edited September 17, 20205 yr by ducaud

September 17, 20205 yr Author Thanks Ryan, My previous system is pretty similar to yours. I have the 4790K overclocked at 4.5 Hz 32GB of Ram, two 1 tb 860 evos and an evga 1080i water cooled. I run a separate client machine with two Nvideas 970 cards for the avionics display of Prosim 737, Active Sky and ProATCx I have three main 2k 32 inch displays for the front, that adds up tp a resolution of 7560 x 1440 I got the monitors down to 30Hz and it gives me pretty smooth 30 fps. while flying. but if I go on the outside view and move around the screen tearing has been horrible, and taxing in an airport its a dizzing experience. That is why I have gotten almost all the way with this new setup and really hope it works smooth. I might run another copy of Prepar3D to power two side window monitors using my 1080ti and my older 4790K server and get a 5 screen display of the outside world, but that is a wishful thinking. Just an idea. Regards Juan
September 17, 20205 yr Smart move with the 10850K. That is the one i am eventually going to buy. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
September 18, 20205 yr Author I have done a lot of reading and asking the experts and it looks like the only substantial difference is the 0.1 Ghz lower speed. and the difference in price was $479 for the 10850k as compared to $800 for the 10900k. For less than $100 I upgraded to better water cooler (H150i Pro XT) and I could probably overclock the CPU the missing 0.1 Ghz that I am missing with the 10850k. Regards Juan
