bump...I guess nobody seen this?

All I can think of is we may be getting some hooks in the future for commercial like missions "Deliver Passengers from XXXX to XXXX" kinda thing?

Think I have downloaded it but received an alert to say it has downloaded but then it is also not showing as downloaded, go figure. Am reloading the game to see if that makes any difference.

No, if I go back in the game it is still waiting to download 2.29mb and if I hit download then it does not download even though I get another alert to say it has. Further there are no new files downloaded in the Official folders.

Load of talk on the official forum about this - same thing, will not download but gives an alert to say it has but nothing is downloaded. Speculation there it was not supposed to be in patch but likely new functionality for commercial flight tasks like bush trips but not acutally yet released.

I wondered why mine wasn't downloading as well, but then I just found this on Reddit >

Hi,

We are aware that the content manager shows a 2.29 Mib download associated with the package “Asobo-Flights-Commercial-Flight”.

This is a display issue (there is nothing to download).

This package is not part of the sim and will disappear from the content manager soon.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I have seen this and another one about CORE CONTENT ready to download. The last time I saw this the patch was ready within a day or two. So this could be telling us they are prepping for the next patch.

This has been in the game since day 1. Its a single flight in a 747 from Seattle to the east coast. The way it is set up is like the other activities so presumably commercial flights will show up there at some point, hopefully with more missions.

The large one for around 80 GB has been there for a while as well and should be removed at some stage.

I believe the next update/patch is scheduled for Tuesday the 29th.  The last one was around 11 GB on the download bar, but then mine said it had downloaded over 20 (maybe uncompressed size?).

It will be a complete guess at the size of the next download, but there are six Japanese airports and other custom objects, and then other enhancements and bug fixes, so around the same again might be a reasonable guess.

The haven't mentioned the sensitivity screen being restored, but I hope it will be in the update, as they haven't always listed everything (e.g the pylons added last time).

I have this issue as well. Using the honeycomb alpha, and all three Saitek/Logitech panels. Black screen when I start from cold and dark, But all OK if I load up at the runway, engines running
