October 16, 20205 yr I have been involved with flightsim for many years and now on Prepar3D V5 and mostly using PMDG 737NGXu I have the the typical Saitek yoke, pedals, throttles and 2 monitors. My PC: Alienware with i7 8700, 3.7 GHZ, 16GB memory, NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB). With NGX, ORBX, typically running 40 FPS in flight and lower to 25FPS when around airport I am now considering purchasing the CDU II from VR Insight as I find there is a lot of input on the CDU and this device seems cool My questions to exiting users: is this CDU user friendly and would you recommend it based on my system, should I expect a big change in frame rate any info on the CDU III ? likely a bigger frame rate impact ? thank you Jean-Marc Jaquier Jean-Marc Jaquier
October 17, 20205 yr I have a CDU from Flight Deck Solutions....I use it for the PMDG 777 but it will also run with the 737 series as well. Fantastic product and more in line with real thing.... Les O'Reilly

October 20, 20205 yr I think the 747 and the 777 are basically the same...but a different colour.... The 737 seems to have a couple of buttons in a different configuration...But essentially the number of buttons and how the physically are seem to be the same.... I have the 777 but I don't fly the 737 or the 747.... I have been kind of on the fence waiting to see what PMDG brings to the MSFS scene and then will probably add the 737 to the sim. Les O'Reilly
