This week we fly  into the wilds of Alaska,  From Wassila  ( PAWS ) - Valdez ( PAVD ).

Following the scenic route we encounter 3 gravel, 2 grass, & 1 dirt, landing,  flying over two glaciers before our destination.

Seven landings & 280nm approx.

Suitable Aircraft,

C185f ,  Beaver,  Maule,  PC6,  etc,  as ever your choice.

No specialised scenery required  except Orbx Sth alaska.

flight time start

Just a word of warning that I plan to fly the Carenado C208B Grand Caravan this morning/afternoon/evening.  If you have this model, make sure you are suitably prepared! (If you have it and don't know what I mean, message me.)

I guess it's Roger's closeness with the dirt (floor of his hut) that makes him chose 'landing facilities' that make him feel at home. 😄

Ne'erthrless, a fine flight, very enjoyable. (apart from that one on top of a mountain. Oh, and that one that didn't exist!)  😎

 Glad you enjoyed flight,   you are right the closer to the floor the safer I feel.

You are always welcome if & when you visit " Robrooke Towers"  I will ensure you have a fresh tuft of grass  to sit on.

PS.    On thursdays we always have mutton stew made from the leftovers of sundays joint.
