October 27, 20205 yr Can a GNS gauge and a GTN gauge work in the same panel? I recently installed GTN 750 in the Friendly Panels Aspen Baron 58 panel and with the elimination of the Audio and Transponder units I have space to replace the Bendix Navcom radio with a RXP GNS 430. Just asking if this would work successfully. Thanks
October 27, 20205 yr It can work just fine, but the two units do not communicate with one another, and do not share a flightplan.. Bert
October 27, 20205 yr Hi, Yes this will work as long as you also make sure you are using a #1 unit of one type and a #2 unit of the other type, for example GTN_750_1 and GNS_430_2
November 6, 20205 yr Author Can the real GTNs communicate with GNS units? If so it would be a great upgrade in the two lines for RXP.
November 6, 20205 yr Both can communicate in a limited fashion IRL. This is like a cross-fill light version. In the simulator world however they can't cross talk.
