October 29, 20205 yr I recently purchased the Vertx DA62 and am running it in P3D V4.5 and v5. To make things easier for me I have used FSUIPC to map one of my hat switches to change the heading bug and the course needle. This works well in almost all of my aircraft. In the Vertx however only the course needle mapping works. I've looked for a way to map the heading bug to either the keyboard or my hat switch but have not been able to find any way of doing this. I have tried to just use the mouse to control the heading bug but really hate the way that works. I have to spin and spin my mouse wheel just to get the heading bug to move a little and then after a while the bug just takes off. I find this very frustrating. Has anyone found a way to map the heading bug in the Vertx DA62 to a key or controller? Thanks. Edited October 29, 20205 yr by jfwharton

October 29, 20205 yr Author Thank you but I already knew that. I'm looking for a way to control the heading bug when using the autopilot and the heading bug to turn the aircraft.
October 29, 20205 yr You will need to use LINDA, a .mcro file or a lua file to do this. A LINDA reference can be found here. The controls needed are: <!-- Increase Heading --> 1 (>L:hdg:Knob:Inc, number) 1 (>L:sound:UI:D6:State, number) <!-- optional sound --> <!-- Decrease Heading --> 1 (>L:hdg:Knob:Dec, number) 1 (>L:sound:UI:E6:State, number) <!-- optional sound --> FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
