LOD Performance Issues

Featured Replies

After patch 1.10.11.0 my LOD performance has gone to ****. If I set either terrain or object LOD higher than 50 I get constant stutters - I believe this is related to the loading of the scenery.

Before the patch I was running both at 200 - sim was smooth as.

I've looked around the forums and unless I've missed it I can't see anyone with similar issues. (ok seems to be a few now)

Submitted a zendesk ticket.

Well its seems they increased the LOD (at least on trees, from what i see), but forgot the famous "CPU Limited by main thread optimization" they said will be there 😄

Mark turn off the rolling cache if you haven't already and perhaps delete it as well and see. And check ALL of your settings in Options to make sure they didn't get changed by the last patch.

I have the same issues. When turning and you look out over the wing, or rapid banking or pitch it stutters. Rolling cache doesn't seem to do much

Well keep us posted as to the cause.
