November 12, 20205 yr After six weeks not using MSFS, I've returned to enjoy some scenic flights. Did something essentially change with the latest updates? I'm wondering why I'm getting a frame rate in the low 20ies with a GPU (2080Ti) running at 40-50% and a CPU (i7x 8 cores @ 4.8 GHz) running at 30-40%. Flying Southwest from Aspen with the default C172, shouldn't I get a better frame rate? If I recall correctly, when flying in rural area, I've always had a frame rate in the upper thirties or higher. November 12, 20205 yr I would check the graphics settings first which may have been reset directly (via an update) or indirectly (I had this once when my connection was lost) in between. A critical point is Render Scaling where values 100 (i.e. SS) have to be taken with care. November 12, 20205 yr I had the same problem. Making sure MFS is closed, go into the Nvidia Control Panel, set MFAA and FXAA to off in both the Global Settings and Flight Simulator App tab. Apply and try it now. Sorted it out for me. The Nvidia settings were clashing with the new TAA in-sim. Z370 Gaming Trident X | Intel i7-9700K | RAM 32.0 GB | AMD Radeon™ RX 9060 XT 16GB
