21 Nov 2020 - Weekend update from FS2Crew (www.fs2crew.com)!

 

1. PUSHBACK EXPRESS. Version 1.5 is almost done! We'll be releasing it within the next 7 days. We're just waiting on one more voice set to come in -namely, the Dutch one.

 

What will V1.5 include?

 

* You can now control the Air Stairs vehicle in Flight Simulator (2020) where it is available.

 

With the stairs, we can now control every ground service vehicle in MSFS -catering, baggage, fuel, power truck.

 

This effectively gives you a solid "Ground Services" simulation in MSFS.

 

For future plans, we're going to add a function so you can easily control the "availability" of the ground service vehicles at airports in MSFS.

 

Some MSFS parking spots don't have the ground service vehicles available.... we'll give you the power to easily change that by activating them!

 

2. More exciting though is the new Voice Sets. In V1.5, you'll be getting:

 

*Italian (English accented and pure Italian versions)

 

*Dutch (English accented and pure Dutch versions)

 

*Eastern Europe/ Russia (Broad area) (English accented only.)

 

(Note that if using Voice Control, you'll still need to speak English since Windows does not support speech recognition in Dutch or Italian or Russian. But you'll still hear the response in native Dutch or Italian.)

 

 

3. Voice Control for the Airbus NX Project... we're coding it as I write this. It's progressing well!

 

4. Secret Project #1: I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you 🙂

Okay, the Dutch voice set has arrived!

I can insert it into the program, and we'll be good to go!

Just a little off-topic. Would it be possible to make the several FS2Crew voicesets interchangeable in the various FS2Crew SOPs? E.g. a voiceset of FS2Crew SOP1 can be used in other SOPs as well? I only can use the button version of FS2Crew for the 737 NGXu and have to listen to the same cabin crews all the time, kind of boring 🙂 .(Assembling one's own crew within a SOPs cabin crew would be great, too. E.g. Exchange Pete the purser for one of his fellow pursers, or appointing a differtent first officer. This could be done within the crews of the same SOP.).
