November 22, 20205 yr Commercial Member Hey guys, so after a little experiment, turns out you actually can edit default plane on a 3D level. It just take a million years to reinject it into MSFS, as the export looses all animations and textures (so you have to make that again from scratch). But if you have the patience (i dontย ๐), and the few skills required, you could do many things, like this tiny Tundra 152 i made, using the wheels of the XCUB.. But also floats, amphibs, skis, etc.... Its kinda blurry but i had to use quite an agressive denoising due to lack of time to render ๐
November 22, 20205 yr Author Commercial Member I guess you could also add a TV for the long flight home.ย

But its his own model, its not the same as editing a default aircraft.ย
November 22, 20205 yr Hello, I am the author of this Cessna 152 TiBush, which was developed on the basis of the freeware by Fravin and Frankart for FS2004. These sources have been modified with the agreement of the 2 authors to get this result. This Tibush was for FSX (published in 2013) but works very well on P3D (v3, v4, v5) => http://frenchvfr.free.fr Currently this Tibush (MDL version) worked very well under MSFS except that during the last 2 updates the "mouse clicks" are no longer operationals. If the next update corrects this point, I will put the three declinations (Tibush, Taildragger, Seaplane) in download if not I will pass it in native MSFS and this works can take more time. Be careful anyway: editing the sources of Asobo's planes for study purposes is one thing but publishing the modifications is another (copyrights). And that was just a proof of concept, i'm nowhere near publishing anything right now !:)
