  2. Hello, Just a word: the last version v0.9.4 has been released on French-VFR (english version of my home site). This addon has been tested and validated under MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 ! This package contains many variations of the CANSO PBY: - Liner : the version used by Air France (C-FCRR) for the air connections between the Islands during the 50s - Blisters used by the US Navy (N427CV) - Water-Bomber with several variations: a Canadian (C-FNJE), a Quebecoise(C-FPQK), and a French one (F-ZBAW) Two news variations have been added since the last versions : CANSO PBY-6A with its emblematic Calypso repaint (Cdt Cousteau) BlackCat (modernized VC) A personal account isn't needed on French-VFR but you should use the account/password noted in the yellow lines before the link (protection against hotlink). ChangeLog: Workrails have been textured on wings texture. Compas has been redone entirely (5 animations) to resolv the Heading Bug/AutoPilot problem (solved with Hollister56) Vibrations added to the yokes Frequency of computations for vibrations decreased (Hz: 30 => 9) A "black cat" (kitten) was added in place of the "red" one in the military version (a military VC is planned for the v1.0.0) Flight model amended for water take off (drag and lift for floats are decreased - files amended by Tiger1962) Added apron.FLT and some amendement on others FLT files Added vibrations computations and then add theses parameters to needles or control commands To use a GPS Working Title, some user modifications (*) should be maded in aircraft.cfg to use the panel.WT file configurated. (*) In the [FLTSIM.x] section of appropriate repaint, the user should modify the panel entry to use panel.WT: Panel="\..\..\frenchvfr_canso_common\panel.WT "
  3. Of course, it do and on SOH someone has yet created two wonderful fictive repaints. Capabilities: Native aircraft developped for MSFS 2020 Totaly functionnal under MSFS 2024 Primer and Pull-through to be able to make hand start PBR textures [4K] Sounds WWISE (environment) and WAV (engines) Doors and windows can be open with “sound system” include Icing capabilities 3 engines and specific flights model: C-65 (Vintage) C-75 (Restored) C-95 (Floats version) Paintkit in next release Now I will be able to take back the Canso PBY-5 and add everything I have in mind for the last 2 years 😄

  5. Other bug in this 1.4.10: impossible to see commands affections (keyboard or joystick) in the "Controls" user interface.
  6. Hello, I allow myself as a developer to point out a small detail: this application can not work on all available aircraft. For it to be operational, the developer of your add-on must have used standard element names. If not, your "walkaround manager" will not work.

  10. One question for Biology: The question is perhaps border line I think I read that you had try on XP and P3D, with publication of screens on XP. For P3D, what is your feeling and how to install it?
  11. I just corrected some details that I have forgetten so it ready for tests in MSFS: PS: Why this boat ? I worked 12 years in this company before retiring in 2020 and they had sponsored this sportive team between 2012 and 2014 😎
  12. The model 3D and the textures are finished: So I could begin MSFS's tests in situation to see how effects are traduct.

  14. Well, I am a retired computer engineer since 2020 and also an aircraft developer (FS2K, FS9, FSX, P3D, MSFS) for more than 15 years so it should be possible for me to adapt it 😉
  15. Hi, Is it possible to add your own AI aircraft ? I had the idea to make an AI version of my Canso PBY and to be able to fly in a squadron to fight a forest fire 😇

  18. I try to answer for Henrik under his control but to use the full capabilities of MSFS, all ship has been upgraded in gLTF and DDS so as gLTF is not supported by P3Dv5, you have the answer to your question. Sorry, but this version should only MSFS.
  19. I am the author of this model (http://frenchvfr.free.fr). The first release in 2013 was for FS2004 and I have always gmax's files. It is just a conversion MDL to glTF with MCX and then the glTF is edited with Blender to modify somes things.
  20. Hi, For thoses who are interested, my Calypso has been ported to glTF and navigate under MSFS. I have also added the Schweizer S300C with the Clypso Society livery. The package have been send to Henrik this afternoon.
  21. Is it possible to think of a version for FS2004 ?... by replacing resample.exe with the right executable ... and some minor modifications 😇
  22. Hi, Just to reply to one of last Rob's answer, who ask "what want developers as functionnalities ?". In the past, "ground poly" FS2002 method can be used with Gmax. With the last opus of P3D SDK [v2.x to v3.3.5], you can not do anything if you don't use 3DS max .... why ? You can answer that Gmax is no more supported but I think i should be possible to make somethings. A friend of mine, develop a tutorial in order to use P3D SDK with Gmax: - https://sites.google.com/site/patdebarrsimus/home/tutos - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4M0_rBrbLnfRi1tV21keS1oMnM/view?usp=sharing but at now all features are not functionnal: new feature Z-bias include in FSXMaterial.ms or FSXMaterialIO.ms script don't appear ! All theses arguments to ask that "little developers" like me wanted to use Z-Bias technic ... are in the obligation to pay a 3DS Licence in order to realized freeware ! I ask just a question: why the support of Gmax has been abandonned? In the SDK of P3D, 32bits tools are present SDK_P3Dv3\Modeling SDK\3DSM7 ... so I think it should still be possible to support Gmax in future P3D's SDKs and permit to more people to use news technic for sceneries.   23. A friend of mine [bernard] has experimented with v3.2 and v3.3 the VAS consumption. The result was a consumption increased on v3.3.Some screenshots to show the differences between both versions. P3D v3.2, flight departure: P3D v3.3, same start: P3D v3.2, an hour's flight approximately: P3D v3.3, five minutes flight: P3D settings for the test to show the possibilities of the version 3.2 that do not offer any more the version 3.3: Theses settings allow to fly easily on v3.2 and why they do not with v3.3? Decrease them would only allow to save time before the inevitable crash. On Orbx Global, the VAS rise quite slowly, 3Mo moreover, 2 less, and so on, the VAS never realy decreases, it is a fact that are needed hours to fill VAS in this case, in the situation which I show, it is very fast! Other experiment on a P3D v3.3 fresh full install and baisc scenery Flyght time: 5 mn, if the quantity fluctuates, the quantity stays in the increase. Question: Does somebody experiment the same thing ?

It's very crazy to read all theses replies and to heard now by LM that this work ... is now a Beta !
