December 15, 20241 yr I thought I had seen a listing for an app on here for ~$5 which would remove all covers (pitot, engine, chocks) automatically. 2 questions: 1. could someone direct me to it? 2. Does it work for career mode? Thanks.
December 15, 20241 yr 1. https://secure.simmarket.com/jktools-walkaround-manager-msfs24.phtml 2. I don't know. Intel Core i9 13900K, NVidia RTX 4090 FE, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 64GB@6000MHz, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe M2, Asus OLED PG42 UQ
December 15, 20241 yr just for info, for those with limited resources, if you enable the developper mode you can have that feature already inside the sim (hopefully/probably one day the workaround will be optional) it's in the menu debug -> aircraft -> covers and chocks Edited December 15, 20241 yr by Bad_T
December 15, 20241 yr Hi, Just one question: this setting does disappear when DEV mode is out? Thank you in advance
December 15, 20241 yr to open the screen you need to enable the developper mode, but once it's open, the little black windows stays there until you close it manually even if you disable developper mode and it still works. Obviously the removed covers will remain removed even if you quit developper mode.

December 15, 20241 yr My God, people are actually willing to pay money for such a crummy mod to do something so simple? I am speechless. [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]
December 15, 20241 yr If I needed this particular thing, I’d pay five bucks for it, why not? I hate having the dev mode toolbar up, so having it tucked away in the top where I don’t see it until I mouse up there is possibly worth the price of a coffee. I’d probably hunt around for freeware first tho.
December 15, 20241 yr Hello, I allow myself as a developer to point out a small detail: this application can not work on all available aircraft. For it to be operational, the developer of your add-on must have used standard element names. If not, your "walkaround manager" will not work. December 15, 20241 yr IMHO, this is one of those "features" that should be globally configurable, yes, it's kind of a cool thing that adds some amount of realism/immersion, but I understand that it can just get in the way if you aren't in the mood 🙂 Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
