[Freeware] Oceano (L52)

Recommended Posts

2JglJS1.png

Oceano airport is a cozy little airport in a perfect slice of paradise. Located right next to the Pacific Ocean in the community of Oceano, California, Oceano Airport is the perfect landing spot for your general aircraft. The airport is near the beach, bordered on the north by Pismo State Beach, and on the south by the Pismo Dunes Natural Preserve. The Pacific Ocean coastline is less than a half-mile from the main ramp area.

All airport buildings have been replaced: airport office and its pilot lounge, main entry gate and his numerous signs, fuel island, executive hangar, airport beacon, wind cone and segmented circle (WIP)… not to mention the famous campground. The scenery is available for free at https://flightsim.to/file/24371/l52-oceano

As all of my mod, this small scenery is made from pilot-eyes perspective. I flew there once in real and I’m an amateur scenery developer. This mod is made with 95% of MSFS default objects and requires no extra library to install.

This is truly an amazing piece of scenery. I don't fly (except MSFS) but I go to Old Juan's in Oceano frequently and sometimes wander over to the airport. The scenery totally captures essence of Central Coast flying.  There a number of great small GA sceneries in the area that will let you do a short VFR flight to L52.

Thanks to all for your kind supporting messages. Believe me, all these have a real positive impact as the fuel for building these freeware is feedback from users. I shouldn't also mentioned AWESOME donators! Thanks to all of you.

So true. For a very (very) short hop, I specially love the  San Luis Obispo Just Flight scenery: https://www.aerosoft.com/en/shop/microsoft-flight-simulator/msfs-sceneries/msfs-north-america/3832/just-flight-ksbp-san-luis-obispo-regional-airport-msfs For longer flights, up north it's San Francisco Area with Half Moon Bay at 1h40min (172 time) and down south, Los Angeles is 1 hour. Mojave desert is one hour east bound.

Puts out an update with a new highly detailed fuel tank.

ARE YOU INSANE????  Hehehe...

Seriously though, amazing as always.  I haven't flown to all of your airports yet but the ones I have flown to had been fun to visit.
