Logo lights sometimes illuminate and sometimes does not.

it does work if I load at night but if I load at dusk or dawn  and  then transition into day or night it does not illuminate.

I do have immersion installed also but even when I didn’t it would do the same.

Would this be a LM issue? Does anyone else have this issue with other particular aircraft?

Mate I have asked numerous questions about bugs etc etc.

and very rarely do they respond.

sick of it.

I don’t know if it’s a qw issue or LM?

Like is said if I start the flight at night the logo light is illuminated when pressed.

if I load the flight in the day and then for instance do a  time change via drop down menu and transition into night.

it does not illuminate.

I have had this issue and so have others with FSLabs buses.Usually solved by turning off then back on.

Hard to tell what the issue is, my effects and lights are always working under V5.

Have you upgraded to V5.1 HF1? LM addressed issues with particles / effects that under certain occasions will not render properly (black squares or white squares).

Perhaps it’s the 787 immersion?

I did just  just purchase it due to Black Friday sale.

I work also as a developer for Immersion packages in partnership with //42, the 787 V1 immersion would only add volumetric lights and no dynamic lights.

what is your current issue, dynamic light illumination or volumetric light illumination? 2 different things.

Hi Mike,

Immersion will add volumetric lights under low visibility conditions (like when your car has lights on at high bean and it is foggy outside), but the default QW airplane should handle the dynamic lights.

So in order to try to help you, I need to understand which effect is failing in your case.

Hi Mike,

I am sitting on the ground at LEPA in my 787-8 (QW default livery) and logo light is on as I sit here at dusk. Getting darker by the minute.

I do not have Immersion installed though.

I am running P3D v5.1 HF1 so in principle it appears it is working.

Quick update Mike...

Its now dark and 787 logo light is still on.

I see, I’ll have to test in foggy conditions and report back.

Load aircraft are day time. Then go up into time compression under drop down menu. 
and slide across from day to night and test please.
