This is what I did today. The only thing I was missing from my Hawaiian excursion was my FSDT Hawaiian airports for P3D. Simaddns managed to convert/create more than 20 Canadian airports to MSFS http://www.simaddons.com/pages/simaddons_pictures_msfs.htm Not sure what is slowing other addon vendors. I understand it takes a while for aircrafts due to the lack of proper completed SDK. Butt the SDKs for scenery is completed I believe. Freeware addons are being created so fast, these addon vendors may lose the opportunity if they don't act fast. e.g. I bought flightbeam KIAD while I was sorting out my purchase (my fault) I found a freeware and its amazingly good. If I had known the freeware was there before I bought the FB version I would have used it or used it until the KIAD from FB went on sale.
