Fly Tampa Las Vegas 1.2 Update

Featured Replies

Performance about the same as the last update.  Performance has improved over the first release but there's still more to go (hopefully).

Interesting. Need to check this out.

I edited my last post as I'm not sure if the floating light issue west of Henderson is do to FT's scenery.

For some reason I lost all the buildings on the strip. How do I uninstall and reinstall FT Las Vegas from scratch?

Delete the 2 folders from the community folder:

flytampa-lasvegas-airport

flytampa-lasvegas-city

Run the installer and choose community folder location.

1.2 great on my end:

I did exactly that.. and I am still not seeing the buildings on the strip. The light to the sky over the pyramid is there but not the pyramid. LOL 🙂

Are the two folders in the community folder? What are their sizes? Total size of both folders 3.76GB

Also try the old trick of loading without any mods. The adding KLAS & city after a restart.

Airport 1.97 GB (2,119,577,435 bytes)
City = 1.79 GB (1,924,361,821 bytes)

I am trying to restart and then go to KLAS

Is there a cache I remove?

Nope.. retarting and resetting the cache did not help

I deleted and installing v1.1

Edited to add: I got my buildings back with 1.1

I second this. First quick flight (low over the strip) after the update and the performance is unchanged. My test was not thorough, but I can say with certainly that there was no significant bump in frame rate anywhere - still about 40 on the runway and down to about 25 halfway down the strip with the Carenado Mooney. Certainly flyable at 4K with a 3090 but just barely. Overall I'm still pretty happy with the addon but I could see others interested in 4K with lesser hardware are going to be disappointed.
