December 16, 20205 yr Hello, I'm enjoying the FS2Crew package for the FSLabs. I have a few queries. I like flying in the FO seat. However I've noticed that as Pilot Flying, the PM seems to use my MCDU during the climb phase. Is there a way to solve this so that he uses his own MCDU on the Captain's side? I've now noticed that the PM doesn't turn on the strobes when I call the below the line checklist before lining up. As well, he doesn't turn on the Landing lights when I say takeoff like he usually does. Many thanks,
December 16, 20205 yr Commercial Member Glad you like it! Did you select the CM2 option on the Secondary Panel? Page 32 in the manual: http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=fslabs_airbus For the other two: Check the manuals, the various config options and green bar if using voice control. Lights are the Captain's area of responsibility in general. Edited December 17, 20205 yr by byork B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 16, 20205 yr Author Thanks for your help. I also seem to have another issue. When starting pre-flight events, the PM turns off the GPU for some reason. I am using a default state used by the FSLabs.
December 17, 20205 yr Commercial Member From the manual... sorry for the bold... that's how I wrote it in the manual 🙂 PANEL STATES: We strongly recommend that you only use the stock FSLabs A320 panel states. IMPORTANT: AFTER LOADING THE PANEL STATE FILE, DO NOT MANUALLY CONNECT POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT IF USING THE FS2CREW PRE-FLIGHT EVENTS. LET THE FS2CREW PILOT SET EVERYTHING UP FOR YOU OTHERWISE FS2CREW COULD WIND UP ‘TURNING OFF’ YOUR POWER SOURCE. THIS IS BECAUSE CERTAIN SWITCHES CANNOT BE READ IN THE PLANE, SUCH AS THE STATE OF THE EXT AVAIL/ON LIGHT. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
