December 18, 20205 yr Is there one? In order to definitely set it on or off in relation to the position of a hardware switch. I did not find it. Thx, Karl i9-9900K@5,0 | 32GB 3200 | 2080TI | 4K 55" | MSFS | P3D V5

December 18, 20205 yr Author Ok, that's like using the direct command "Toggle Tailwheellock". Using it like that I never know the state (on or off) it has. So probably there is no way to have a lever and set tailwheellock on for one position of the lever and tailwheellock off for the other position. December 18, 20205 yr There is a simconnect variable in P3D for the current state of the tailwheel lock, so maybe if you visit the FSUIPC site and request that John Dowson add an offset for that variable it could be done. Given that there's a simconnect variable, you could also try reading the Lvar in xml via Lua/FSUIPC.. December 19, 20205 yr Author Thank you. I will try to get the Lvar. Karl i9-9900K@5,0 | 32GB 3200 | 2080TI | 4K 55" | MSFS | P3D V5
December 23, 20205 yr Author Pete told me that there is an offset for tailwheel lock: 0x2A90. I just did not check the latest documentation. Everything is fine now. Karl i9-9900K@5,0 | 32GB 3200 | 2080TI | 4K 55" | MSFS | P3D V5

Just as a general comment, my understanding is that unlike with FSX/P3D, FSUIPC7 does not have access to Lvars in MSFS at this time, and maybe never unless Asobo agrees at some point to make them accessible, which is doubtful. This is really unfortunate since I have many Lua scripts that depend on Lvar access. 🤕 Al Edited December 24, 20205 yr by ark
