December 21, 20205 yr Hello, till last week I used FSUIPC to configure my joysticks (Warthog) and my ruder (Saitek Rudder). Now I wanted to try to assign the rudder to MSFS. Have deleted any entries of the rudder, even the calibration in FSUIPC, the following issue even happens, when FSUIPC is not started! When I apply rudder, my elevator resets. This short video shows what happens. Here you can see my settings: wanted If anyone has any idea what is wrong with my setup, please help Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
December 21, 20205 yr You still have the axis and or button assigned somewhere else where you would least expect it. Look in every connected peripheral for any duplicates including a xbox controller if you have one hooked up. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
December 21, 20205 yr Well, yesterday while I was running my "wind on ground" tests I noticed something weird about the rudder in the DR-400, but I couldn't confirm the deflection really happens because it doesn't show either graphically ( looking at the aircraft form an external view ) or using the Dev console, but I always see the left rudder pedal deflected a bit from cockpit views. I remember AEROSOFT used this "trick" to model prop effects on their DR-400 for FSX / P3D. A gauge script deflected it whenever throttle was increased. Don't know if it's a similar approach being taken on the DR-400 in MFS, but indeed from the initial beta and release versions I noticed that after one of the updates the "ball" started to displace a bit more due to prop effects on tail requiring right rudder application... Don't really know if it's a "trick", but since I confirmed that they do play a trick on ground wind I will consider it as, at least, possible. When I unassign the rudder axis, it doesn't reset then. Would it be assigned otherwise the effect would still kick in. @jcomm thx, but it is not only tied to the DR 400, I do have it on all other planes, too. And it is in air also at any states. Just filmed it on ground as it is easier. December 21, 20205 yr Not close to my MFS install right now, but what does "USER EXPERIENCE" = "MEDIUM" imply ?
