I would like to know if the Flight Replicas Heron, North Star and Halifax are fully compatible (no errors/glitches and all systems works as should) with P3Dv5 ?

I agree, but sadly no replies yet after days. Idk if its because Xmas holidays or because they only reply to customers (you should provide serial and proof of buying before tech support reply, that is mentioned in other FR products manuals). Anyway if its the second situation its stupid because Its valid questions before buying and if no reply (thats a easy answer) no buying!

So I have some hopes if someone have these aircraft and already installed in P3Dv5 and can provide some infos about the compatability. 😉

I can only talk about the Bf109G6 and the Buchon, which are labelled only to be compatible up to P3D4. I had some problems with them in P3D5 caused by the sound dll they use.

Mike from FR adviced me to redownload and install again. I did so and also set defender to disabled for this. After this, these two planes work in P3D5.1 like before in P3D4.5. I can't say, wheater they work completely flawlessly in v5 or not, since I did not fly that much with them. But instruments and flight behaviour were as expected. 

I'd expect every plane from them compatible with v4.5 to be also usable in v5.1. There's no system change like from v3 to v4, which did break many compatibilities. From their B-24 I know, that they provide a textures update to make it compatible with v5. In the update, there are also panel.cfg files. Don't know why he added these. My conclusion about this is, that textures may be not super perfect in P3D5, if the they were made for P3D4.5. On the other hand, the rest of the plane works the same like in P3D4.5 before. 

For me, if I want a plane, I just risk it and try to get it to run. Of course, I wouldn't buy three planes at once in this case, but one by one. If you want to be sure go for their B-24. It's solid work.

Thanks, yes, i want to believe that they should work, because their B24 and DC4 that I have, works perfectly on P3Dv5.1. But also I have some fears because we see in some other devs/addon situations of CTD from using P3Dv4 birds on v5.

But because their DC4 and B24 explicit says that its compatible with v5 and the others not, idk if because really not works or if its because they not yet updated their webpage store saying that they are.

Ask Mike over the support mail adress for the specific type. I thought the Buchon is only up to 4.5 but when I mailed with Mike he said it works in v5 at his place. So his website is not up to date for older models. 

Usually very complex planes with glass cockpit make more problems that the ones with steam gauges in my experience.

The ctd's often are not from the plane itself, but an addon like trueglass, which the plane uses. F1GTN too can be called by a plane and then result in a ctd. I have to add here, both these addons should now work fine in 5.1. But only a week ago I had problems with one of them. Still don't tested which one it was, since I didn't have time to test. It takes long for my P3D5 to start with all my addons.

Yes, I had some problem too with mail contact. At first I got Mikes answer in my spam folder. Second he didn't answer for two weeks and then I resent my mail and got an immediate answer. After my last mail, telling Mike about the success, I didn't get a feedback. Guess he has a lot of mails. But check your spam folder and resend your question after the holidays once again. I'm pretty sure, you will get an answer.

It may just not be as fast as expected. I can imagine, that working in this business means 24 hours a day and 365 days a year work if you don't disconnect yourself sometimes.

I usually see my box and spam box multiple times per day, daily. So i hope soon I will have a reply from them. I really enjoy their DC4 and B24 and want to increase my hangar pool.

Bit late to the party and it seems you have the official word, but out of the three you named - Heron, North Star and Halifax - I have the Halifax and the North Star and can say for sure that they both work in V5 okay.
