Hot to disable log at engine shutdown?

Featured Replies

When completing the flight with the defined arrival field, when the engine is shut down, the log appears, which is an immersion killer for me (I still have some steps in my paper-based shutdown checklist). Any way to disable this automatic log appearance?

You can't

Microsoft knows better, why should they give you the option to disable this cool "career mode"/"avatar development" feature in the GAME. Simulators are boring...

I just click really fast on the spot where it says Continue or whatever, and the screen goes away after like a split second. Works for me 💁‍♂️

Not only does it come up at an inappropriate time, if you do press continue so you can complete the shutdown it will not log the flight in the log book.  It is a poor implementation at best.

Additionally, if you fly for a VA that frowns on pausing, they will ding you because it shows up on their flight trackers as a pause.

If you fly without a destination field in your flight plan, the log will probably not appear. Or if you land at the other airfield vs the one specified in the plan.

Man I thought I was picky smh lol

Park in a place other than the one you are recommended by ATC and it will not pop up.
