This problem has been addressed in a couple of threads without a clear answer.  I have two add-ons.cfg files.   One located in C :\Program Data\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5   (this file does not contain a package for FSLabs).  The other file is located in C:\User\me\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5  (this one does contain a package for FSLabs).  Should both contain the FSLabs package?

The easiest solution to the path problem is to re-install the FSLabs aircraft, but do not use custom install locations.

Please try that.

Nothing custom about the installation.  Normal add-on.xml straight from the installer.  Why can't you answer my question?

 

I think only 1 should have it.

Is the file path in the one cfg file correct?  Is it pointing to where your FS Labs Bus is?

Yes, the one in AppData points to the right path.

Try copying that to Program Data.

 

That didn't work.  I get a message saying access to C:\Program Data\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\add-ons.cfg was denied.

Try turning off User Account Control.. you have a write permission issue.

Account control hasn't been on in years.

You've owned the FS2Crew for the Labs since July of 2019... how did you get it installed before?

Never installed it before.  Various problems waiting for FSLabs updates, my health, etc.    That has little to do with what is not happening now.

Also ensure you download the latest version of FS2Crew Labs from the FS2Crew website.  I'm wondering if maybe you don't have the latest version.

I have version 1.7 according to the app.  The website order section doesn't list the version, just lets you download what is there.
