Messed up Chicago

Featured Replies

Hello - I just ran the update today for MSFS, and then went into to do a flight from Midway over the Chicago Lakefront. The city was all messed up, spikes and weird land formations. I realized that I never moved the contents out of my community folder before updating. How to I fix is, and what are the correct procedures for updating with respect to the contents in the community folder? I know I have seen posts about this but I am a bit confused. Thanks in advance!

Cheers, Pete

As best I can tell, the terrain glitches have not been fixed in this update.

I would suggest installing the "mappamundi terrain glitch fix".. it is still needed.

Thanks Bert! Where can I find that terrain fix file?

Unfortunately, the mappamundi terrain fix does not solve the terrain mess in downtown Chicago (big mountain and a crater alongside).

Hi Bert:

A gift for you. Look at this, in Alberta, not too far from Vancouver:

It's really a beautiful airport and scenery. Look at the train!.

Enjoy!.
