January 9, 20215 yr Hi guys, My hdr option is greyed out and I cannot choose to use it. What could be the problem here. I have tried a ot of things in graphics settings but the hdr box cannot be ticked. Any help would be great! Tnx Jozeff
January 9, 20215 yr Do you have EA tswitched on under weather settings? If so, this forces HDR to be on and the HDR box is then greyed out. Best.... Phil
January 9, 20215 yr You can force HDR on without EA enabled by changing the Prepar3D.cfg file in the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V5. Change HDR=0 to HDR=1 using notepad. Always backup your original files before changing them just in case something goes wrong. Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.
