January 11, 20215 yr I don't know why every time there is an update for MSFS 2020 Asobo seems to disable how other parts of Flight simulator from working. I had two models by Canadian Mods, the Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A330-300 working very well before the recent updates. Now, the engines of my Boeing 747-400 won't start, and now every time I want to start the engines on my Airbus A330-300, the simulator shuts down. Also, I downloaded and installed textures for the Boeing 747-8 in the colors of Delta Air Lines. The titles were mirrored and the 'D E L T A" title on the fuselage appeared cut off. I contacted the artist who confirmed the titles were correct as shown in his published pictures and he thought it was done by Asobo. I wonder if Asobo is aware of this and what's taking them from correcting the error. This ruins our enjoyment of a costly new game for the rest of us.
January 11, 20215 yr Yeah, new updates released by Asobo fixing some things and breaking others (i.e. scenery spikes) is par for the course at this stage which can be frustrating indeed
January 11, 20215 yr The A330 mod hasn't been updated since November, there have been multiple updates to the sim since then. It looks like they took down the file back in November and said a better version would be coming in January. It looks like they ported over an A330 external model from FSX, and kludged on the interior of the A320 from the stock sim. It's likely that updates to the A320 in the December update broke it. You really want to stick with mods that have active support from their developers at this point. MS and Asobo are still filling the sim out and fixing tons of issues. Until this dies down some mods will likely have to be corrected after each update. James
