DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

Featured Replies

while starting P3Dv5.1, I get the error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED.

I know this is something to do with NVIDIA (or at least graphics).
Can anyone help?

Thanks

How does Moses make his coffee? Hebrews it.

I took the shell off my racing snail, thinking it would make him run faster. If anything, that made him more sluggish.

Yep it can be a pain. But start with disable Bathmetry in scenery for a start and see if it helps. It did here so far.

I had this problem while loading the Aerosoft A330. I was able to fix it by updating Trueglass to the latest version.

Normally the DEVICE HUNG is hard to track down but this time had a clear and concrete example of it.

Loaded a scenario with the Milviz 350i.

Walked around on outside view with Chaseplane.

Noticed that the texture for a spinning prop on the right engine was already loaded but the prop was stationary engines off.

Got into pilot view noticed that the texture was not loaded.

Started the right engine like normal.

Instant DEVICE HUNG.

How did you go about updating Trueglass?

Sorry I did not mentioned that. I happen to own the TFDi 717 and by updating the airplane it installed a new version of TrueGlass.
I have heard that they make it available thru their discord server but I haven’t check myself. Not sure if they make it available thru their forum.

So far with the updated TrueGlass I've no CTD with the AS A330 and yesterday I flew VTSP-RJBB with the QW787 and no problems at all.
