January 20, 20215 yr with the latest update to pilot2atc i am having a problem where the program stops responding i could have just received some instructions i will repeat the instructions back and there will be no response so i use the copilot to respond they will repeat the instructions back but atc stops responding i have tried asking other things with say it like radio check i again here the copilot say radio check but no response form act this only seams to have started with the latest update if i try and disconnect from the sim p2s crashes with not responding and has to be shut down with task manager when i updated p2a i also updated the FSUIPC7 at the same time to version 7.0.4 could this be causing the problem? Log File 7 i think this is the correct log file it happend at 13:12 on 20/01/21 Log File 8 the next log file i had had to restart p2a again Log File 9 successful flight i see half way through the log the voice james failed to load this is a microsoft voice i have now removed that voice form p2a i think that was also the voice that was in use on the first log could that be the reason why it stopped responding? January 20, 20215 yr Commercial Member FSUIPC 7 is ONLY for MSFS. If you are flying P3D, that is definitely the problem. Dave
January 20, 20215 yr Commercial Member A voice not working will result in a "default" voice being used, so that shouldn't stop the program from responding, so that explains why it didn't stop the successful flight. If you are using MSFS and have less than 32GB of memory, that could cause an issue. Also, if you are "tuning" your PC to favor MSFS for performance, some users have found that causes P2A to starve for resources (CPU or Memory) and stop working. It's also possible that you did something, like reboot the PC, before the last flight and it cleared up the problem. Dave
January 20, 20215 yr Author Pc is amd 3900x 2080ti with 32 gig 3600 men I have not changed any settings to favour fs2020 I have removed that voice this is not the first time this has happened I will try and recorded p2a and if it happens again will post the video and log file

January 22, 20215 yr Commercial Member The buttons are not causing the problem. It looks like P2A was ended normally, which I would expect if you shut down the program, but not if it crashed. If you can email the log file to [email protected], I'll have a look to see if I can see a problem. Dave
January 23, 20215 yr I believe my issue may be the same as the original posters. Works fine on departure, get up to cruise and get through 2-3 centers then doesn’t respond when I talk. Open my task manager and the .exe stops responding.
January 23, 20215 yr Commercial Member That sounds like a CPU or Memory resource issue. Try running task manager and observe the CPU and Memory usage to see where it is and if it's running around 80% or higher. If so, that could be the problem. Dave
January 23, 20215 yr Author thanks dave for the suggestion i will monitor it just had a 2 hour successful flight p2a performed brilliantly my max cpy was 32% and max memory was 51% will see if its the same if the problem reapers

January 25, 20215 yr Commercial Member It's possible that P2A became unresponsive because it was trying to get weather from the internet and either the site or the internet was not responding. If you email the P2A log file for this flight to [email protected], I can have a look to see if there is something there. P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. A new one is created each time you start Pilot2ATC, and is closed when you shut it down. So if you take the most recent one after you have the error and after you shut down P2A, you should have the correct one. Dave

February 12, 20215 yr Hi Dave, I've been having a similar problem with becoming unresponsive between cruise and star, I had to quit a few times to get the mic to repond again and i was unable to tune into ATIS until I quit Pilot2atc completely. Each time I tuned the g1000 it would give me a split second of audio before it retuned .5 down. It seemed to be trying to tune into the wrong frequency. I'm not sure what has been happening. Culd it be other plugins? I'll send you over the log file if that's ok.
