The "retuning" is happening in the aircraft/SIM.  P2A reflects whatever is tuned in the cockpit.  If you change frequencies in P2A, it changes, or attempts to change, the frequency in the SIM.  If the aircraft does not allow external programs to tune the radios, then it will revert back to whatever the aircraft tunes to.  

If ATC is turned on in the SIM and it controls the frequencies, like in MSFS, then that will cause the radios to retune after the change.

Of course, if there are other plugins running that try and control the frequency, they could definitely cause this behavior.

Mine won’t even recognize that I’m talking to it after the latest MSFS update. Before it would go unresponsive on arrival. Now it goes unresponsive right away.

First of all, thanks for a great program. I love it 🙂

I have the same issue. Works fine and then suddenly it stops responding to my calls. CPU and memory are not maxed out.

I have had this several times. First I thought is was a time out because P2A could not understand what I was saying, this is because What I am saying and what is understood is  not the same before it stops responding.

Thanks for the report.  I see an error message that I will investigate.

Were you on a VFR flight?  If not, you should not request pattern departure.  I also noticed you requested it, got approval, then requested it again, after a radio check.  This makes me think you didn't hear a response, which might mean there was a problem with the volume settings or other sound issues.

If this happens again, please send me the complete log file via email as it has a lot of information in it that helps me understand what was going on.  Email to [email protected].

Hi Dave. 
I was on a IFR and I didn't ask for a departure. I was asking for a Straight in approach 🙂. Speech recon is not trained enough :)

So I asked again. No response, did a radio check, and asked again, no response.

Then kept asking for different things. like Radio check, "Say altimeter" etc. no response

That could explain it.  The program may have crashed because it didn't have the information it needed for a Straight Out VFR Departure.  I will take a closer look with that context and may see the culprit.  If you know what controller you were talking to, that would help.

I would highly recommend taking the Language Training for all the controllers.  Most users report it can take you from about 50-60% accuracy up to 95% plus.  In fact, taking it more than once can improve recognition because it can record you saying the same things multiple different ways and then recognize them the next time you say it that way.
