January 23, 20215 yr Hi all. Has anyone gotten the Simbrief flight plan import to work in the A320NX? I have my simbrief user name in the options menu set up, but when I go to the INIT page and hit the "Init Request" button I get an error message "not in database. Not allowed". I'm not sure what is wrong here. I followed a YouTube video exactly as he did, and while it worked for him, I just kept getting the above message. Any ideas? Thanks.
January 23, 20215 yr MCDU Menu - ATSU - AOC Menu - INIT/PRES - INIT DATA REQ Only after that go to the INIT Page.

January 23, 20215 yr In the World Map, before you hit fly make sure only your Departure airport is selected, do not select Destination or else Simbrief FP import won't work. Is that your issue? I've literally just took off from LIEO enroute to EGCC and the import worked like a dream. Edited January 23, 20215 yr by sidfadc Thomas Derbyshire

January 23, 20215 yr Try using your Simbrief ID number instead of your user name. That's what worked for me. In Simbrief, when you create a flight, In the Optional Entries area you should see your Pilot ID in the lower right corner. It never changes, so you can use that number in instead of your user name, when setting up Simbrief in the MCDU Rick i9-14900KS OC to 5.8 Ghz | 64 GIG- G.Skill 7200 RAM | Asus ROG Maximus z790 Hero Motherboard | Gigabyte RTX 5090 OC | 47" Samsung 4K Monitor I Pimax Crystal Super 50 HMD I Varjo Aero HMD I Windows 11
January 23, 20215 yr Author Never mind. I just found that the username was different from the name displayed on the Login/Logout button on the top of the screen. Its showed my full name, but my user ID was different, lol. 😖 I'm an word not allowed. 🤪 Thanks for all the help guys.
January 23, 20215 yr Glad you figured it out. For anybody else, if you have a user name that has an unusual character, or in my case, a space between my username. Then try the Pilot ID number instead.
