January 24, 20215 yr Hi, For the past 2 days, ATIS at any airport is telling me "Weather is not currently available for <airport>, arriving and departing runway ......" Something is not right.
January 24, 20215 yr Commercial Member What weather source are you using? If NOAA, sometimes the NOAA server goes down. Usually it's back up in a couple of days or less. If not NOAA, then check that the specified file is available in the specified location and has data for the airports in question. Edited January 24, 20215 yr by Dave-Pilot2ATC
January 25, 20215 yr I'm having the same problem. The RecentMetar.xml and RecentTAF.xml files are there, but they are blank. I deleted both files to have it create new ones, which it did, but they are blank too. This has been happening since Friday or Saturday. I use the AWC metars, TAF's and graphical forecasts (for winds aloft) and they have been working during this period. KDFW was down for a short period on Friday, but it was only for a short time. Any help would be appreciated.
