January 29, 20215 yr Since I have over 500 aircraft in my P3D/FSX setup, I'm not too keen on going through extensive startup checklists, so for B-314 I am going directly to the engines running scenarios. Unfortunately the engines are quitting. Is there a fix for this?
January 29, 20215 yr Administrators Probably a good reason to follow the checklist. Fuel cock on? Proper mixture set for the altitude of your airport? January 29, 20215 yr I made for my own use a minimalist start up process (from the VC) - Battery Switch - Fuel selectors (Port wing tanks to 1&2, Port distributor to 1&2 On) (Starboard wing tanks to 3&4, Starboard distributor to 3&4 On) - Cowl flaps full open (FE panel) - Master mag On For each engine - FE panel : crack open throttle, engine mixture full rich - CPT Overhead : engine mag to both, starter switch, booster switch - FE Panel : Primer button, manual engine full pump (far right under the FE table) Hope this will give you the desire to read the documentation - much more to discover 🙂
January 29, 20215 yr Commercial Member If you have a control setup, - make sure the mixture levers are at FULL rich. - mags are on If they're quitting on loading any scenario that we provided and neither of the above applies, pm me your serial number and email address so that I can check that you're registered correctly. An incorrect registration will kill the engines and prevent a restart, full stop. Edited January 29, 20215 yr by dragonflightdesign
January 30, 20215 yr Commercial Member Alternatively, post a screenshot of the 2D panel looking forward (Vehicle | Instrument Panel | Pilot Main Panel). Not the VC as all of the switch positions are not as easily visible. That will give me an idea of where the problem may be. Edited January 30, 20215 yr by dragonflightdesign
