In your case the question was if Windows 7 x64 would be officially supported. The answer was no we only support Windows 10.

I will take support questions regarding V4 but our main focus on this was V5.

John (Blackbrd) two questions:
I have Windows 7 (64bit) Professional - Does the installation work???
Find the installation tool the path to P3D 4.5???

Regards

Julio

1. We didn't test it at all on Windows 7, so I'm not too sure honestly. If the King Air from us works in your installation then the P180E should as well, but we make no promises. Officially, the only supported OS is Windows 10.

2. It will find the correct path for 4.5 on its own, no extra input required.

Close - it is at the stage of polish / refinement / bug fixing right now. Once all the kinks are worked out it will go out the door.

I'm really looking forward to the Avanti when it's ready. Another solid turboprop in P3d is going to be a very welcome addition. 🙂

And then I found out it was for 5.1 only.... word not allowed

It will work in v4.5, but not supported, as I understand it.  Looking forward to seeing how it goes...

Well, if that's true, then I'm excited again. Thanks, Stewart.

On the product page it says “Prepar3D v4 compatibility
You may install the 180 EVO in v4 using the supplied installer. However, product support is restricted to v5 only.” I have 4.5 and plan to get it as soon as it’s released again.

That's my plan too. I looked on the homepage and saw it said 5.1 only, so that's all the further I read. Thanks. It's a first day purchase for me too now that I see it's installable in 4.5.

Unfortunately the V4.5 option has been deprecated as there are too many problems with V4 that we are not fixing. As it stands the product will only work in V5.1 going forward. Sorry to disappoint you guys.
