Aerosoft Now Selling MSFS Physical Disk for the US Market!

Recommended Posts

They're probably trying to get rid of stocks because they know the SDK and patch they are working on in conjunction with Asobo as part of their CRJ development process, will mean the stuff that's burned on those DVDs will be even less useful than it already is, in a few weeks. The coffee table book will still be a nice thing to have, as would the box for collector completists, but really, the disks are not much more than a bunch of shiny coasters.

I'm guessing that with all the sim updates that have already been implemented, along with all those yet to come, installing from an original set of disks, ISO etc and then updating to the latest version online will actually take longer than just installing directly online.

So far that hasn't been my experience - quite on the contrary.
