February 6, 20215 yr This is one of my local airfields, and it is done really well. It is exactly as I remember it. I have been inside the Vulcan there for half an hour, most of it in the pilot's seat - a superb experience listening to how they carried out the 'Operation Black Buck' raids all the way down to the Falkland Islands. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

It was also real courage from everyone involved. Not much chance of a rescue from the cold Atlantic waters if just one link in the chain failed. It is a fascinating story for sure. This scenery author also does some great scenery for the city (Birmingham). I dare say the upcoming update will make that obsolete, but as his buildings and modifications stretch far outside the city centre, I hope the update doesn't mess it up too much. If so, I hope he can modify his scenery pack a little bit afterwards. I can easily navigate around Birmingham on a VFR flight using his pack, as there is always a decent building or landmark in view, and they are very good quality. I think he placed 60 or 70 of them. His attention to detail is superb. On this airfield package he has even placed the correct British road signs. You can see them on the country road underneath as you take off to the north.
