February 6, 20215 yr I have only been flying the C 172 G 1000. It seems like on every flight a new bug crops up. Today on the second flight, the altimeter on the PFD freezes at 1100 feet and won't move, yet the analog altimeter shows I am climbing to 6000 feet and climbing normally. Lucky there are a few steam gauges on this aircraft. Just noticed, that not only the altimeter is frozen, all the gauges on the PFD are frozen, airspeed, climb rate, waypoints, etc..etc... I am thinking about returning to the 172 steam gauge version. Edited February 6, 20215 yr by Bobsk8
February 6, 20215 yr I admire the work of the modders to try and fix the G1000, but unfortunately all of the mods that I have tried have introduced other issues like freezing displays. Bob, I'd suggest dropping the G1000 mods for now. Fingers crossed that Asobo delivers the BADLY needed fixes to the Garmin stack in the March 4th sim update. Chris
February 6, 20215 yr I agree with @snglecoil I have everything set at default and being patient waiting for updates as they come... still lots of fun, no tweaking and no flight lost to frustration or CTDs or the like.
February 6, 20215 yr Hi all, I had that too a few versions ago, running with version v0.3.4 now and everything is just fine. So check if tou can update - still a long time till march... I just did that, followed by shutting down windows and restarting everything. Keeping fingers crossed. 1 1/2 hours later. Had a perfect flight. everything worked. 😀 Edited February 6, 20215 yr by Bobsk8
